A bit of fun, but...

I needed to replace the headcover for my Odyssey 2 Ball that's 15+ years old. The velcro on the old one had given up and I was constantly going back to find it after it would fall off. I looked around for a nice, reasonably priced replacement that was magnetic. This came up in one of my searches in the Vine Program and I figured I would give it a shot. I was a bit hesitant on the quality before it arrived, but it was pretty decent. It says it is leather, and it doesn't smell 'plasticky', but it probably isn't the highest grade of leather, though. Stitching is okay, but the lettering along the back edge is a bit suspect. It appears to say "addlicted" instead of "addicted". The dot over the "i" is kind of merged into the lower part of the letter. My putter is about as big a putter as it will fit- A larger head and it may not be able to close properly since the target magnet area isn't very large. you wouldn't be able to fiddle with the flap to find the spot. Mine was pretty tricky at first but since it's been used a bit, the leather has softened up a bit and it closes pretty easily. I'm sure it will soften up a bit more as well. Oh, and if you put it in your back pocket like I do when you are putting, it's still a bit stiff and bulky, but as I said, I figure it will soften up over time and be a bit easier.

Well made

Well made putter cover that always gets second looks when someone see's it. Its actually very well built and makes a great gift for the younger 18+ golfer you know.

A great gag-gift that looks even better than it does in the product photos!

I bought this for my brother for a bit of a laugh, but I took a good look at it before sending it his way and was pleasantly surprised by its quality. The main product photo in the Amazon listing made me slightly skeptical of the stitch quality, but the cover I received looks great.

It has a really satisfying magnetic snap to keep the cover on the club which if I had purchased this for myself I would almost consider keeping it on my desk just to fidget with the magnet and get the satisfaction of it snapping shut over and over again.

The gold/orange accent color looks classy, and honestly if there was any concern about the cover attracting unwanted attention at the clubhouse I wouldn't be too worried about it as it's unlikely to be too visible when your putter is in your golf bag, especially if your bag is on a cart.

I'm very happy with it, and I can't wait for my brother to get it in the mail!

Shanker Golf is a golf brand. It makes golf stuff. Sometimes that golf stuff is quite funny. You can buy the stuff as gifts for your friends. Or use said stuff to make golf more fun. Or less painful. It’s pretty simple really.

There is no fluffy mission or wanky purpose to what we do. We're here to make people laugh, which makes the world better, briefly. 

We started Shanker Golf because it's fun to take the piss out of golfers. The Shankers among us. They love golf so much, spend hours of their lives at it, but are still terrible. People seemed to agree, so we kept making more ridiculous golf things. Somehow, people kept buying them. We couldn’t believe it! 

Since then, we’ve done a lot of stupid things with the money, like create an entire range dedicated to OnlyFans (Cease and desist proudly on the mantlepiece), made headcovers that look like beers, and create camo golf balls that are impossible to find. We also spend way too much time arguing about what we should do next. 

For now, we’ll continue to do what we do best - make the best funny golf products possible - and it’s great to have you on the journey!
